- Head to the Capital One referral page to get started, then sign in to find your personal referral link.
- Share your link with interested friends and family and ensure that they use it when they work through their application process.
- Your bonus can take up to 8 weeks to be processed, so keep an eye on your statement for the credit.

- Get hold of your friend’s unique referral link – check it’s valid by clicking the link; you should be sent to the card referral landing page.
- Complete your application as normal.
- While you won’t get a bonus for being referred, Capital One offers regular new cardholders offers – so check what you’re eligible for.
- Your friend should receive their referral bonus within 8 weeks – and you’re now eligible to take up the refer a friend program yourself.

- Log in to find your unique referral code – this is what you’ll be sharing with your interested friends and family. You’ll find options for texting or emailing it directly.

- At this point, your friend must make a qualifying net deposit within the 45 qualification period.

- There’s an online form to fill in – once you’ve submitted it keep an eye out for your unique referral code, which should arrive by email.

- The code is valid for 90 days and should be inputted when they fill out their application.
- Once they’ve successfully opened their account you’ll receive $50 and your friend will bag themselves $100.
